Schmidt also has online tools that enable our customers to utilize the Internet to transmit files, place orders, approve proofs and check order status. Each tool is username and password protected to ensure customer security. To gain access, please contact your Schmidt Account Manager and begin taking advantage of the many benefits our online services offer.
Schmidt’s online customer service portal provides a unique, personalized portal to information and tools that simplify and often eliminate many of the processes associated with managing print procurement. Benefits include:
- The flexibility to place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Access to real-time order status any time, day or night.
- A portal to detailed order information, including low-res images, on all previous orders.
- The ability to upload purchase orders or copy previous orders.
KODAK InSite is a web portal to the prepress environment that helps to manage the proofing process with great efficiency over the Internet. Capabilities include the ability to:
- View and annotate pages and request corrections.
- View and annotate pages individually or in collaboration with others in a group review session.
- Invite others to review pages.
- Approve or reject pages online.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a method of transmitting files via the Internet. It is a cost-effective, reliable and easy-to-use method for transmitting electronic files of any size.
