Paid Time Off (PTO)

Eligible employees start accruing paid personal time off upon hire and earn up to a total of 104 hours in the first year. PTO time can be used for any purpose including vacations, employee or family illness and time off to attend to personal business.

Holiday Pay

Eligible employees receive seven (7) paid holidays per year.

401k Savings Plan (P.R.I.N.T Plan)

You may contribute up to 15 percent of your pre-tax earnings to the P.R.I.N.T. Plan. The company will match 2 percent of your pre-tax savings contribution. The vesting period occurs after 3 years of credited service.

Results Sharing

As a Schmidt employee, you have a stake in the company. Once a year, employees may receive a contribution to their Profit Sharing Plan based on company performance.

  • Medical Coverage is available to all full-time employees through the Taylor Employees Health Plan.
  • Dental Coverage is available to all full-time employees through the Taylor Employees Dental Plan.
  • Vision Coverage is available to all full-time employees through the Taylor Employees Vision Plan.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts These accounts are designed to reimburse you for benefits not covered by the Health and Dental Plan, including health and dependent daycare expenses. Pre-tax dollars are deducted from your paycheck.
  • Long-term Disability (LTD) Benefits paid under this plan are 60 percent of monthly earnings based on the previous year’s earnings. These benefits are paid to eligible disabled participants after a 180-day elimination period. The company provides LTD insurance at no cost to eligible employees.
  • Schmidt provides life insurance at no cost to eligible employees. The life insurance coverage provided is one times the amount of annual compensation.
